about us

The mission of the Interfaith Alliance for Climate Justice is to be faithful stewards of creation by supporting resistance to its degradation and exploitation. This ministry intends to provide resources to those who protect the earth’s ecosystems, safeguard public health, and ensure sufficient, sustainable energy for people.

 

who we are

Co-director: Robert Dilday is a student at Virginia Theological Seminary preparing for the priesthood in the Episcopal Church. Until 2018 he was editor in chief at Baptist News Global, an independent faith-based news organization, and prior to that worked for a religious liberty advocacy group in Washington, D.C. A Texas native, Robert earned a bachelor of arts in history from Baylor University and a master in divinity from Southwestern Seminary.

Co-director: The Rev. E. Weston Mathews is the 21st rector of Grace Episcopal Church in The Plains, Va. A lifelong Episcopalian, Weston previously served as associate rector of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Richmond, Va., and as a seminarian at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Weston is a native of Winchester, Va., and earned a bachelor of arts in history and master of education from the College of William and Mary and a master in divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary.
